Our Principles
We hold that the Bible alone, as originally written, is the inerrant word of God. We believe that the Old and New Testament is authoritative and inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is relevant for every generation and shows us how to connect with God, be forgiven, live victoriously, and walk in our calling.
THE TRINITY
We believe in a single God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who created the heavens and the earth. We consider God to be the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit–three Persons in one Being. The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God–comprising the Trinity. The Trinity is eternal and worshipped as absolute God.
CREATION
We hold that God is the sole and ultimate Creator of the universe and He gave the universe its first breath. He created man in His image and likeness, and Adam and Eve are the beginning of all humanity. Each and every human is made in the image of God and has intrinsic value. Originally, man was able to commune with God and bask in God’s presence. This direct connection was severed once sin entered the world.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ (the Son) came into the world to save sinners and display God’s love for humanity. He was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life, as both God and man. Jesus was crucified and offered as a sacrifice for sin. He was resurrected three days later and ascended to the right hand of the Father, where He now resides as the head of the church, interceding for His followers. One day, Christ will return to earth personally, physically, and visibly to inaugurate His millennial reign.
Jesus' covenant is eternal, and His atonement for sin was perfect
We hold that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross perfectly atoned for sin—redeeming and justifying anyone who accepts His sacrifice on their behalf. We believe that only grace can bring about this kind of redemption, which is unrelated to good works, baptism, church attendance, or human effort. It includes the promise of eternal life, the gift of a new nature, and the forgiveness of sins
Sin has a negative effect on a sincere believer's enjoyment of their relationship with God, leading to the loving correction of their heavenly Father. However, we believe that a sincere believer walking in repentance is secure in their salvation, which cannot be lost.
It is our firm belief that every professing Christian ought to model their lives after Jesus's. That can be accomplished through prayer, Bible study, and obedience.
Our firm conviction is that every Christian should strive to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. This can be done by developing their spiritual maturity through meditating on and following the Bible, as well as by yielding to the Holy Spirit. The Spirit dwells within and seals every believer at the moment of salvation. Believers should recognise and yearn for the fullness of the Spirit because it is His influence that enables Christians to live victorious lives on earth. We believe that every true Christian should actively participate in a local church because it is the primary setting for spiritual growth and societal influence under the guidance of God.
DEATH, SORROW, TEARS, AND PAIN WILL ALL END
We consider that anyone who receives Christ becomes His co-heir and that after death, their souls travel to live in conscious bliss with Him. They will someday be resurrected and live in God's presence forever in a body that will no longer experience pain or anguish.
Romans 6:23 says, "But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the fruit you reap leads to holiness, and the outcome is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
